  I a first time home buyer and was so amazed at how simple and easy the process was with Jack Stinson and Amcap Mortgage. Being a first time buyer I was nervous and had a lot of questions. Jack went out of his way to answer my texts, phone calls and and thoroughly explain the whole situation. I can’t say enough how scared I’ve been to buy a house at this particular time, and being a first time buyer it was stressful in my own mind. Jack made it so smooth that I regret not buying sooner through them. I Highly recommend Amcap Mortgage and will To all my friends.

  Thanks exclusively to this lender our closing date was pushed back so many times that it fell into the window or covid and we had our home, that we were 100% approved to close on and were supposed to receive keys for...TAKEN from us via phone call less than 48 hours before we were going to move in. If we had moved in on 3/17 like we were supposed to, we would have been protected by the CARE act. But thanks to an employee’s (Seamus’) “ski trip” (even though we took the time to prepare and send multiple sensitive documents MORE than twice) and a complete switch to another loan officer (who when we lost our house told us, “everything happens for a reason”) delaying and restarting the process, basically due to reasons without a doubt out of our control...we couldn’t close. Lost thousands and extra hundreds on the POD we had to move with. I could not be more angry if I tried about this. I hope no one goes through this company if they want what’s best for them and their family. Thank you for wasting our time, trust, energy, money, and hope!!!!! I hope it feels good for you and you sleep well.

  Jack Stinson is Fabulous! I am a Realtor in Austin and have worked with AMCAP on at least 10 transactions over the past 2 years and I have had nothing but FANTASTIC service and attention to detail on every single transaction. Jack Stinson and his entire AMCAP Team was available to answer any of mine or my clients questions and also problem solve if needed in a timely manner with great solutions. They were partners every step of the way and to many of my clients surprise were able to close early. Not only am I a referral source, I am also a client-Jack Stinson at AMCAP has personally taken care of my real estate transactions in addition to my clients! Highly recommended!
