Came here to cash a check that was issued through my school but it has Ameris Bank stamped so I tried to cash it here instead of my bank. I went through the drive through and was told I needed to come in because I didn't have an account with them and needed to come inside instead of using the drive-thru. I normally go to the location in Hinesville and I've never had an issue but I respected the policy. I'm a disabled vet so I try to go through whatever is easier. I came inside and waited and was told they couldn't cash it due to something with the school. Either way they were no help at all as to how to correct it. I felt this could've been told me at the drive thru instead of me coming in and wasting my time. I assumed everything was good to go due to what I was told at the drive thru, she even told me to just bring my student ID. Won't be coming to this location again, maybe I'll have a better experience at one of their other locations.
