  Karen was absolutely wonderful. I was having a hard time having someone work with me to become approved for a mortgage, being self employed. Angel Oak Home Loans has options for people like me, but Karen specifically was encouraging and helped me to be able to make it happen. We made a plan to get everything ready within 6 months. I worked hard with her guidance and followed her advice. She went above and beyond in this crazy real estate climate to get what I needed at the time of putting an offer in. I can now say that I am a homeowner and it feels wonderful. She was with me every step of the way, with calmness, clarity, and purpose. I would definitely work with her again and would recommend anyone to Angel Oak, particularly Karen. Thank you so much for making a dream of mine come true!

  This was my first solo home purchase and Karen Throckmorton with Angel Oak Home Loans was absolutely amazing! She worked directly with me through the entire process to ensure everything was done to perfection. She looked out for my best interests and Karen treated me with respect and was very informative. I felt like I was her number one priority from start to finish. I didn't know buying a home could go so smooth.

  We were fortunate to have Angel Oak Home Loans handle our two latest mortgage loans. Both times the company has provided us with top notch service. They handled every detail with both expertise and caring..........as if it were their own loan. Karen has worked with us on both loans. Her knowledge of the loan process is amazing! We were never apprehensive or concerned knowing she was working with us. When we had questions, she would answer quickly and accurately. All documents contained the correct information and forwarded to our realtor and closing attorney when needed. This is indeed crucial to the home buying process. We thank Karen for all her hard work making our home purchase possible and stress free. She is a true asset to Angel Oak! We would like to recommend both Angel Oak and Karen to anyone interested in purchasing a home.
