I am having a really terrific experience with AZ Central so far! I started out looking for an equity loan, but then it turns out mortgage rates were lower than I thought, so we're doing a cash-out refi. I had a little bit of a rocky start getting ahold of someone, but once I did everyone has been very nice, low-key, and responsive. So far, so good!

I'm a treasurer for a small nonprofit and contacted AZ Central CU to inquire about their account fees. I was told the fees could be waived but when we showed up to open an account was informed there was a $10/month which would slowly wipe out our savings and prevent us from awarding scholarships in the future. Very unfriendly CU to nonprofits.
