  During the sale of my home and purchase of my next home, Aspen Real Estate made the entire process easier than I ever thought. Throughout the entire process, everything was explained as clearly as possible and required minimal input from me. Settlement and closing were as easy as could be with no hiccups, Aspen thought of everything! I couldn't be happier with how the transaction went through with Aspen, big thanks for Laura and Jordan for their hard work!!!

  The actual closing on sale of our home went fine. They were prompt and responsive. As sellers, the closing itself was made very user-friendly (during pandemic conditions) -- with a company representative coming to our home. All very smooth. The 2-star rating (would be 1-star but will allow for the above positive elements) is for how inaccurately and unprofessionally they handled our final water bill almost 2 months later -- which was paid for by an escrow payment they took from us at closing (part of settlement disclosures). When advised of the over billing by the water company and the overpayment by them, their response was, "It's not our problem. You need to take it up with the water company. The water company has already processed the payment so they have the money." I will add that the attitude and the tone of the response email message on this issue (to our real estate agent) was unprofessional and borderline disrespectful. I will never have an opportunity to do business with this company again but you can be certain that I would not. There are plenty of title and settlement companies out there so I recommend using someone else. Our real estate agent will plan to avoid them in the future as well. - CAPT Hernán Altamar, US Navy (retired)
