The staff are not professional at this branch. Woman teller was extremely rude and condescending to my family when we were dealing with closing accounts after a death in family, to multiple family members, on multiple separate occasions and without any reason. The branch manager does not know answers to simple questions about the process for closing accounts after a person dies. It’s surprising because I would imagine that my family is not the first one handling accounts after someone dies in the family. Even though all the accounts had beneficiaries, they have told us that there is no timeline that we can expect to receive the money. Three other banks have already been done dispersing the deceased accounts after one month, now months later after the death the money still sits at Associated bank. I know this is unethical practice and my loved one would have never used this bank if they understood their money would remain in the banks’ hands because of “policies” that make it hard for people to collect the money even though they are beneficiaries!

Everyone I've dealt with at this bank has bad attitudes, and when you call them they talk to you like you're a problem and not a customer, then hang up on you promptly.
