  We run our small business banking through Bangor Savings. They have the most helpful and knowledgeable staff. Truly a pleasure to work with, and have often gone beyond my expectations to make sure everything gets done right.

  Best personal banking experience. I have been using Bangor Savings for many years, when I moved out of state I learned what it was like to use a huge chain bank and all their automated services that took forever to actually talk with someone to help with whatever it was I was trying to do, and then even when I would get someone on the phone they really did not care. This is not at all the case with Bangor Savings Bank in Farmington. Even though we still live out of state, we do most all of our banking here (having the ability to deposit checks by cell phone and no ATM fees anywhere makes this really very easy!). Wherelse do you find people who care, are helpful, and are available to you in person or by phone whenever you need them. One of many example: My wife was going to register her car and did not have the right paperwork, she called Bangor Savings Bank before banking hours, got someone, who faxed it right to the DMV in our state... all before they are normally even open. Would one of the large chain banks do that for you? No way! Can't recommend highly enough!
