      good bank location, never had a problem or issue with it. It's a place that I come to once a month or so if I happen to be at Ankeny and I need to check my financial stuff. Definitely will come back again.

      I've been with them for about 15 years. I switched one of my accounts from a savings to a checking account due to the outrageous fees they were charging me for too many transfers between my own accounts. When I switched-I specifically asked what needed to be done to keep it maintenence fee free. They said minimum of $1500 OR minimum of $250 monthly direct deposit. I verified that it just needed to total $250 in a month. They said yes. I direct deposit a minimum of $300 a month and also usually have over $1500- and they still charge me the $12 fee. I called about it- they said it has to be a one time direct deposit. Not what they confirmed when I set it up. And no explanation about the minimum balance not covering it. They have completely forgotten who has made them the company they are now. I know they could care less about my little accounts, but I have a hard time letting them keep the interest they earn on my money in addition to having to pay them a maintenence fee for doing absolutely nothing! Do not recommend.
