      I deposited a large check from my attorney last week on Thursday. I asked how long the hold was and the teller told me cause I was such a valued customer that funds would be available the next day. Well. I transferred the money to my online savings with American Express on Monday. Now my bank account sits in a negative balance waiting for the initial check to clear. The correct information I found out today is that a check over 5000 can take up to 5 days to clear. I have called the 24 hour number for assistance because this branch won't pick up the phone. I have called twice to the branch. They just responded to me. They respond the same way to everyone. I will be contacting home office for BOA. I don't see any resolution with their response.
