  We recently changed our bank to Bank Of America Haymarket. Worked with one of the Managers Joanna. Pleasantly surprised with the ease of all. Joanna was patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this bank branch.

  This is in regards to the mortgage lending side of Bank of America. As a realtor I can not stress enough to use a local lender- their rates are competitive, they know our market and the location you’re purchasing in, they can be reached by their office number or personal cell phone (the ones I recommend can be reached on weekends), they’re looking out for your best interest, and they more often than not meet deadlines and closing dates. I have had nothing but issues with big name banks and out of state lenders. I am currently representing a seller where the buyers are using Bank of America we are currently 10 days past our close date- being told 2 days before closing we would not be closing on time and not know when we could close. This is completely unacceptable, especially when families are packed and ready to move. The lender is not able to tell me why we aren’t cleared to close. Not only is Bank of America hurting my business they’re causing stress and financing burden to not only my sellers, but the buyers and the seller of the house my client is purchasing. I usually don’t rant about issues, but I want potential buyers to see this and I hope Bank of America can makes this right before 3 families house purchases fall through.
