  Customer service her is HORRIBLE! A few days ago I visited this bank. I usually go to the one closer to my house but I went shopping that day. When I got inside, people were already screaming at the tellers. I assumed that they were just rowdy customers and proceeded to my assigned teller. I asked the female teller if I could withdraw $2600 for my rent (she asked). When she got into my account, she informed me that I couldn’t make the withdrawal without my husband who was at the front of the store with our 2 small children. I was confused because I withdraw the same amount every month without him. When he got over to us, she asked him to swipe is ID. When he did, she informed him that it was expired a month ago. My husband offered to show them a picture of his passport and she said that he couldn’t use it. At this point we are frustrated. I asked the teller why I needed him and she mentioned that he has money deposited into my account and I need permission to withdrawal from him. I than asked her to give us a pass because he was standing right there with clear identity of who he was. After her declining our request for 5 minutes, I told her that I was going to my zone bank and if they gave me the money without my husband (as they usually do) that I would report her store to EVERY customer service operator that I could . When I got to my bank, I asked for a withdrawal as usual. The teller informed me that all of my accounts were restricted! I couldn’t believe that the lady from the other bank was that low to restrict my account over an expired ID. When I explained to her what happened, she understood my problem (because I always go there) and decided to call Customer Service. When she go ahold of them, they asked to speak to my husband. They asked for his birthday, telephone number and date of birth. When he gave them permission for me to withdraw the money, the account was unlocked and I was given the cash. As happy as I was, I was also angry that the bank on Fordham refused to help me. They denied a man who was standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM over an expired ID and a customer service agent allowed us to withdraw the money over the phone WITHOUT EVEN SEEING HIM! I couldn’t understand why the first bank couldn’t even TRY to help. I instantly understood why the other customers where angry. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY DONT CARE TO ASSIST CUSTOMERS PROPERLY. Not to mention that they all had on #wecare tshirts. 😑😑😑
