A fantastic alternative to the big banks! I had a poor experience with Wells Fargo and reached out to CNB for their local expertise and consultation. I faithfully paid back an $83k home loan to CNB. When I later applied for another loan on the same home owned free and clear (putting CNB as first lien holder) I was denied. What was the reason? Another property I own free and clear was viewed as a liability. CNB is a great bank if you don't need to borrow money. ESL happily granted me the loan without jumping through any hoops.
