  I first began my journey for a new mortgage with a nationally-known lender. After nearly two months of misplaced documents, inexperience, and general unprofessionalism, I was told that I could not obtain a mortgage due to some technical defect. The notice of this technical defect came less than a week before the closing date on our new home. My Realtor suggested that I give Colton Jackson a call at SWBC Mortgage. Upon review of the situation, Colton alerted me to some inconsistencies in the story that I was given as an excuse. It was at this point where I began to experience a truly professional team. Colton and Kayla Stein worked feverishly to help extend the closing date of my transaction, obtain a mortgage, and move in to our new home. It is my understanding that a typical mortgage transaction takes approximately 30 days to complete. When Colton and Kayla took over my case, they completed the mortgage application and we closed in two weeks! Not only did Colton and Kayla exhibit the utmost professionalism, but it was apparent that they were both very knowledgeable in obtaining financing from the Department of Veterans Affairs. While I thought that the large nationally-known VA lender would be the best, I was wrong. There is no doubt that Colton and Kayla can do what others cannot--serve those who served. The ease in which my mortgage application was processed was unmatched. The customer user-interface is easy to understand and upload documents. The communication was excellent. And, the follow-up underwriting issues were easy to identify and cure quickly. I would recommend that all potential homeowners contact Colton and Kayla for their new home.
