  My husband and I have had bad credit from pretty much the get go. We were irresponsible and ended up causing a lot of damage. In all reality, we never really felt the effects of this until a little over a year ago. We lost our apartment after my husband was laid off and had to move in with my parents because there was literally no other alternative for us. Once we finally got our finances under control again, we decided it would be best if we bought a home instead of renting again. We went to a mortgage lender to see what we could get approved for and that turned out to be nothing. Our credit was so poor that we couldn't qualify for a loan. Our lender suggested working with Credit Matters to help repair our credit. It's been almost a year since we started working with them and I couldn't be more happy with the results. The process is long and tiring, but everyone from Credit Matters have been absolutely amazing. I've already referred a friend to them for help and you better believe that I'll suggest them to anyone else facing the same struggles we did.
