  IF I COULD PUT ZERO I WOULD! WANDA SIMMONS IS THE WORST LENDER I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH IN MY LIFE! WE WENT UNDER CONTRACT ON APRIL 20TH AND WE WERE SCHEDULED TO CLOSE ON MAY 19TH, SHE NEEDED MORE TIME. WE AGREED TO CLOSE AT THE END OF MAY, WORST CASE SCENARIO JUNE 4TH! THE BUYERS AND SELLERS IN THIS TRANSACTION HAS SCHEDULED THEIR ENTIRE LIVES AROUND WANDA AND HER ABILITY/REASSURANCE THAT SHE COULD CLOSE THIS DEAL. JUNE 4TH TURNED INTO JUNE 11TH AND WORST CASE SCENARIO JUNE 18TH. BOTH PARTIES ARE LIVID AT THIS POINT, BUT WE ALL ARE TOOOO DEEP INTO THIS DEAL TO PULL OUT AT THIS POINT SO WE EXTENDED THE CLOSING DATE AGAIN ONLY TO GET A CALL ON JUNE 8TH STATING THEY ARE DECLINING THE APPLICATION DUE TO REASONS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN VERIFIED IN THE VERY BEGINNING NOT ALMOST 2MONTHS LATER. SHE DRAGGED THESE POOR BUYERS AND SELLERS THROUGH THE MUD, SHE COST THEM MONEY, STRESS, ANXIETY AND THE LIST GOES ON. WANDA CLAIMS TO BE A 22 YEAR VET IN THIS BUSINESS AND WE CANT TELL BECAUSE SHE MOVES LIKE A ROOKIE! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVER. THE LISTING AGENT SPOKE TO ANOTHER PERSON WHO WORKS AT THIS COMPANY BY THE NAME OF BRIDAY ON FRIDAY JUNE 4TH AND SHE ASSURED HER THAT WE ARE ON TRACK TO CLOSE WE WERE JUST WAITING ON AN APPRAISAL. WE HAD NO IDEA WE WOULD BE AT THIS POINT TODAY DUE TO EMPLOYMENT CONCERNS. THOSE ARE THE TYPE OF THINGS YOU VERIFY VERY EARLY ON. SHE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SLOW! I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW HORRIBLE THIS JOURNEY HAS BEEN WITH WANDA FROM CROSS COUNTRY MORTGAGE! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!

  My client is Under Contract with Ms. Wanda Simmons. Let me start off by saying my experience so far is NOT GOOD. My clients are very unhappy with her service. I really lost a lot of respect when she made an inappropriate comment to my client but her and I discussed it and she apologized (still doesnt make me feel better) I will not be referring anyone else. The lack of sharpness/promptness when time is of the essence doesnt work for me..the appraisal is just being ordered less than a week before closing..closing is suppose to be on the 19th. We now have to possibly push it back to the 4th of June. My sellers are relocating from another state and their plans were surrounded by the original closing date. I can go on and on but I will leave you with "stay on top of her" when it comes to your clients to make sure everything is getting done in a timely manner so you are not disappointed later on throughout the transaction. On a positive note because I am a positive person. I do like the fact that she is easily assessable/accessible. She does get back with you, she does answer the phone. A Lot of lenders are so busy that you can barely get them on the phone sometimes or they get their assistant to call you but she actually calls you back and talks to you directly, i appreciate that.

  Cross Country Mortgage is the absolute worst lender. Faith Helm's team, John Haddad do not tell the truth. They told the builder that they never received documents from my husband and I and that was not accurate. WE HAVE PROOF THAT THEY RECEIVED DOCUMENTS. I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS LENDER.
