  Peter, Anna, and Esther were amazing! They were able to close a very difficult VA loan and get the condo VA approved. They communicated with us throughout the entire process and we truly couldn’t have done this without them. We spoke with 5 different lenders and CrossCountry stood out from the rest with their customer service and rates.

  If I could give a half star I would... and that would be generous. This business provides horrendous service. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Luckily we were able to find another mortgage company for a construction loan that provided top-line service. Once the broker I was using at CrossCountry Mortgage was asked to make a change to a document he refused to return phone calls and kept texting me that he would get back to me right after the closing he was in. I had this run around for two weeks before realizing the intent was to never return the messages in the first place.

  Michael Massimi, the mortgage broker working for CrossCountry Mortgage in Old Bridge, has made a mistake and tried to cover it up with lies. Instead of doing the competent work, he assured us the we would get a loan and we proceeded with a contract to buy a house. We spent $650 on home inspection, $1000 on attorney, $350 on oil tank inspection and $600 on house appraisal only to learn that in the end the CrossCountry has rejected us. Before we learned about that, we also went ahead and cancelled our apartment lease and started packing. Since the loan origination was delayed by one month, the seller pushed us to pay $250 per day in delay fees. Of course, Michael Massimi has disappeared and couldn't get in touch for comment. We've lost a house and all the money. I can't recommend this broker and this company to anyone who is looking to get a mortgage.
