      You could call them 5 times a day and they will still not answer the phone. I am surprised by the poor service considering the expensive tuition that the students pay. D'Youville college is fine, however, the financial aid department is an embarrassment to the school. If you are a student, dealing with time sensitive loans, make sure you plan ahead because the school will take 2-3 weeks to return your calls. Everytime I call, it is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I expected better.

      The college is absolutely amazing with incredible professors. But when it comes to financial aid and having the administration process it in a timely manner, do not count on it. It is hands down the worst college administration I have ever experienced, whether it be first hand or from friends and family. The financial aid department is a nightmare. If you really on financial aid refunds for food, books, and room and board; then don’t worry, maybe you will get the money you need by midterms. Plus it doesn’t help that the staff provides no knowledge about estimated times, shows little empathy, and basically just tells you to deal with it. Beyond disappointing for such a great school otherwise.
