  Conveniently located in McCormick Ranch in the Paseo Village Shopping center area, Desert Financial Credit union has a drive through that usually has no wait. The inside was remodeled a few years ago. Staff is pleasant and helpful offering banking services as well as notary and other services. They are not the best option for a HELOC, in my experience, as they are unwilling to lend more than 60% of value, due to "your low Transunion credit score 846 of 850." In my opinion, they didn't read the acceptance letter they sent me. Please click 👍 if this was helpful.

  Complete clown fest. I was depositing a check to someone else's account and they wanted all of my information including social security number. This isn't standard practice at any other bank in the world. I'll never use dfcu again and I'm so happy I didn't end up getting my auto loan through them. They wasted 25 minutes of my time saying the computers were being slow and then asked for that information to deposit a single check.
