I've enjoyed watching my money grow with Ellevest for the past year. I am someone who is not in a rush for transferring money, so I have not encountered the experiences provided below. I will say my money has grown significantly even THROUGH the pandemic. Growth takes time and Ellevest is perfect for this.

Love the concept and huge fan of the founder however I set up the account to create frictionless monthly investing and somehow my bank account never fully connected. I was disappointed to sign on months later to find that I had $0 in the account with a notice that they needed more info from my bank to complete the reoccurring transfer while I continued to get charged the monthly fee. There should be a system in place to contact individuals via email if this happens and I’m disappointed that there is not. I contacted customer support and they told me there was nothing I could do. The $5 fee is totally reasonable and the product is great but only if you’re actually accruing money in the account.

A SCAM! I have tried to cancel since January, and they have taken my money month after month, with no end in sight. I have been attempting to move my Roth IRA to Fidelity since January, yet every time I contact them they state that they are still waiting on paperwork. I am so frustrated. This operation should be shut down.
