  I’ve been a Financial Symmetry (FSI) client since late 2013. When having early discussions with FSI, I didn’t initially think that I needed them to develop a financial plan for me as I was just interested in having someone “manage my money”. Ultimately, I did agree to have them do a plan and I am thankful I did as that plan has proven invaluable and serves as my roadmap to financial success. FSI has provided outstanding advice in all facets of personal finance including asset allocation, diversification, portfolio design, tax planning and efficiency, and behavioral finance guidance. They are a fee only fiduciary financial planning firm that puts the client’s interest first. Even without considering the gains in the equity markets over the last 6 years, they have provided services and value far exceeding the fee they charge. Everyone I have worked with at FSI is professional, conscientious, and highly competent. In summary, since becoming a Financial Symmetry client, my financial health has significantly improved, and the FSI team has been instrumental in this progress. I highly recommend FSI to anyone that is motivated to get their finances in order and to solidify a plan for their future financial success.

  I paid a lot of money for a "financial plan" and maybe my expectations were not realistic but what I got was a "financial projection" based upon data input into a computer program. I have even found what appear to be several "errors" in the input data which would affect the projection. I had them corrected once but believe there are more, so in the end I feel like I received a very expensive product of questionable value to me as I plan for retirement. On the plus side the people I dealt with were very cooperative, accommodating and pleasant to work with.
