      First Citizens is a great bank and Jimmy Butler is the consummate banker. They are all friendly and professional and will assist you in any way they can within the rules of their institution, which, i might add, are no more stringent than any other bank. i have banked with them for a dozen years and it has always been a pleasure.

      I can't imagine what happened to the irate customer. I've banked at FC, McClanahan for 5 years. The clerks are always friendly, smiling; they learned my name speedily and used it. The president is always ready to open my safe box for me. I can't remember a single glitch in service or statements in all that time. And they gave me immediate assurance that they would give me a loan for a lot I wanted to buy. (I changed my mind when I shouldn't have--but I can't blame them for that.)
