  Lynn Devoll at the Grand Blanc, Michigan Branch did an excellent job, as usual, helping me open my new checking account, ordering checks and getting to me ASAP. She then followed-up to make sure I received my checks and that all information on them was correct. - Very professional, polite and efficient customer service.

  I've always had good service at the Flagstar Bank in Grand Blanc. But I always think about this one incident that happened back in the summer of 2017. I was trying to purchase my car and needed to run to the bank to withdraw $5,000 (which I had more than $5,000 in my account). I went inside to the counter and asked the teller for the amount. She said "$5000?!? What do you need that money for? We cant get that for you right now." I replied that I needed the money now because I was going to purchase a car. I asked for a manager and even the manager didn't want to give me the money, saying it was too much to withdraw (they never gave me a reason why I couldn't withdraw my money). After 5 minutes of talking back and forth, they reluctantly gave me my money. I've slowly stopped banking with Flagstar after similarly odd instances at other locations.
