  We have been trying to close a refinance loan through Mutual of Omaha Mortgage and Frank Sommese loan officer since mid November. We initiated the loan back on Oct 7th and provided all requested documents in a timely fashion. We were told our loan was through or nearly through underwriting since mid November. Their loan app has shown us ready to close, awaiting a closing agent since that time. As multiple deadlines have been missed they have come back for more recent documents but never anything different, suggesting what they had was sufficient but aging out. I have requested status updates multiple times but have never gotten anything concrete. Have also filed a complaint with BBB. Poorly run operation.

  Started the process of submitting information for a refinance. Frank told me he would lock me at a certain interest rate. The next day, he said he did not lock me, and the rate went up. I asked if he would honor the rate he quoted me the day before, and why I was not contacted or told anything about why he did not follow through with what was promised. He said he would not. I would avoid doing business with Frank, and would never recommend him to anyone. Basically did a bait and switch on me in the first day of trying to give him some business.
