      GAP Accounting has prepared my taxes for 7 years in a row. They have been very knowledgeable and have put in real effort to understand the particulars of my unique situation. Our conversations over the phone have always been pleasant, and their response times to emails is fast. Excellent service by nice people.

      After 10 years, paying 10k plus for business and personal returns, “we will not be doing your returns, we are full and no one was designated to take Louis Roner’s case load. No notice, no referral to another accountant, unless you consider H&R Block a viable alternative. Tax Service Plus was great to work with, Gap sucks. I guess I am not the “right kind of client” for this company, maybe if I paid more money every year I would be, or maybe this is just the way business is in Cottage Grove now. Not the way I remember. If you want professionalism, courtesy, and a business that values it’s clients, Gap is not for you. Harold Clark

      I am sorry to hear that Louis’ retirement notifications were not received by all his clients. He tried to make sure he personally notified each one of his clients while completing their returns last year as it gave him the chance to shake hands and say goodbye. Our office followed that up with an additional notification in the fall to those few clients that had tax returns only Louis specialized in. Louis was a very valuable Tax Consultant in our community and office. We have yet to find his replacement. I would be happy to forward you a copy of the letter that was provided to those few clients who’s returns were beyond our scope of knowledge if you would like. Ideally we wanted for all clients to be able to continue with us but we also know that having someone who has the expertise to prepare specific returns was ultimately more important.
