  I truly cannot say enough good things about David Craig and Jonathon Hosseinali at Gateway Mortgage Group! After I had major communication issues with a different lender I had already used to purchase two other homes I decided to drop them but had already given that first lender (AmCap) ALL of my info. So I was tasked with starting over from scratch with a new lender I had no prior experience with. I spoke to 3 different companies and David Craig at Gateway was one of the most responsive and informative so I decided to go with Gateway. Absolutely everything from beginning to end went easy, and fast. Even when my appraisal was ordered it was done within a couple of days. I was able to purchase the exact home I wanted and we closed within 4 weeks of my first communication with Gateway. I don't ever want to move again, but if I do I will 100% use them again. I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

  I had a very unpleasant experience with David Craig (Loan Processor). I first contacted Mr. Craig via email to consider my options. He provided me with a link to submit application for a rate estimate. I submitted all required documents (pay stubs, w2 forms etc. etc.) and patiently waited days to received a response and there was never a response. During a period of 3 weeks my wife called Mr. Craig on 3 different times to inquire about the status. On all 3 occasions Mr. Craig simply said it would take 24/48 hours to process. Also, during those 3 weeks, I attempted to reach out to someone else for assistance at Gateway Mortgage just to simply be told that i had to wait on Mr. Craig. We were so discouraged that we initiated the process with another Mortgage Lender called Loandepot Mortgage. The loan processor at Loandepot was Adrian McMurry. Mr. McMurry was very attentive and responded all my calls and text messages right away. I was able to get and lock in my rate on the same day. Unlike David Craig, Mr. McCurry truly showed me how a true professional does and handles his business.
