  Gil's office assisted me with my first home loan on a condo. Gil was recommended to me by my realtor, Gabrielle Hanson (who was also fantastic). A couple key points I'll touch on: 1. Gil is honest and trustworthy. As a debt-averse person, naturally I was quite wary about taking out a mortgage, and really tried hard to find any holes I could poke in the loan estimate and rates that Gil offered me. I could never find any. I shopped around quite a bit and pretty much every other mortgage broker I spoke to basically told me that what Gil was offering me was amazing and to take it. 2. Gil looks out for your best interest. There was a point early on in the process where Gil suggested that, instead of a condo unit, I look for a multi-unit building which I could rent out. This option would have resulted in a much higher loan amount, which I was uncomfortable with. I mentioned that I was uncomfortable with that, and that was the last I heard of it from Gil. I know that many brokers may have been more persistent, and I appreciate that Gil was not. 3. Gil made the complicated home-buying process extremely easy to understand for me as a first time homebuyer. Never a dumb question with Gil. 4. The members of Gil's office that I worked with (Zaldy, Angela) were also top notch. There were a few minor complications here and there that came up, which were taken care of very quickly. Especially impressive given the volume of work they have with rates being bottomed out. Overall I highly recommend Gil. He and his office made a complicated and overwhelming process not-so complicated and overwhelming.
