  My experience with Dave Beckman at GuaranteedRate has been a pleasure during our refinancing process. We worked with GuaranteeedRate because it was one of the competitive lenders we narrowed our choices down to based on our research requirements, good standing with BBB, competitive rates, well established business, online lending, and highly rated by other customers. We started online and he reached out to speak directly with me. He was very easy to talk to and is a local lender. He provided initial numbers and would run his calculations right over the phone to give you a starting range of what he would be able to offer us, all the while knowing that we do shop around for other lenders. This point is very important because, we were almost going to go with one of our first contacted lenders who later became unprofessional as we requested estimates from our second or third options. However, Dave did not. Dave was very knowledgeable and professional. Dave would reach out to give updates as new rates changed daily. He didn't pester me although he would want our business. He was very respectful and courteous and quick to respond. We choose businesses that are respectful to their patrons so Dave became a top contender in our final decisions. In the end we went with our third-choice lender who ultimately provided a slightly lower rate (we did buy down points). We do have to look out for our bottom line and Dave understood. Dave was very kind and even offered to look over our estimate to see if there was anything fishy. He was kind enough to offer his expert advice and let me know that as a consumer/borrower, we did make a better choice with the third company. I felt like I was getting advice from an uncle. He pointed out a thing or two to me that were good and what made sense in our loan estimate, making me feel good about my research and decisions. Dave understood and even though we did not end up with Guaranteed mortgage, I interacted with him enough to know that anyone I recommend to him, would be in good hands. So I am initiating this review to help others that I do not know that I feel very comfortable to recommend Dave and GuaranteedRate mortgage. Best of luck to other borrowers, I feel Dave would be a good choice if you do not want to compare multiple lenders, GuaranteedRate mortgage is a local business, offers nationwide services and a respected professional.
