  We worked with Bruce though a recent refinance we did for our home. He was the best! Attention to detail, making sure he got every detail right, and his communication every step of the way all were excellent. We really liked his personal videos explaining what was happening as we went through the process. He even arranged for final signing of our papers through a notary while we were on vacation! You can’t provide a better service than that!

  I recently transacted on my first 4 unit deal in San Diego County with Bruce, and I can definitely say it has been an incredible experience. To be honest if it wasn't for Bruce and his team at Guild Mortgage, I'd likely not have gotten through all the hurdles this deal presented. They remained as relentless (or more) as I have been in getting to the finish line and not only served as a lender, but a mentor in the process. I reached out to Bruce on this opportunity to get his opinion on the feasibility to get the loan that I was hoping to obtain. His guidance and many years of experience in the industry has been invaluable in understanding how a lender and the federal government think about real estate, what signs and financial/deal moves you should consider and when, and how to overcome any hurdles that the deal may throw at you. There are a few items I think really set me apart as a buyer and that was Bruce's attention to detail and level of communication. Bruce followed up the pre-approval letter (sent along with the purchase agreement) with a video explaining me as a potential buyer and why I'd be a strong candidate. This touch point was one of the many where Bruce was not only helpful on the lending side but on the deal securing side. In a hot market, little things like this really seem to catch seller's and selling broker's attention. It helps that Bruce is extremely personable too. I don't know anyone else that utilizes video and tech tools as well as Bruce. Thanks again for all your hard work! Excited to see what else we can work on in the future.

  Bruce was a delight to work with as I prepared to buy my first home. I went into the process guarded and unsure of what I could qualify for in a very competitive market. Bruce took the time to gather my information and provide countless scenarios for different loan packages based on a wide array of variables. He found solutions and remained optimistic and realistic throughout the entire process, taking time to answer every "what if" question I had along the way. His special touch of responding via video to each inquiry is part of what made the interactions with Bruce meaningful. Within a little over a month we went from pre-approval to Escrow! We found the perfect home for our price range, and Bruce helped fund a loan at a competitive rate. Thanks, Bruce!
