  We were completely dissatisfied with Senior Loan Officer Mark McQuinn located at office 879 W. 190th Street, Suite 1150, Los Angeles, CA 90248, his team, and the Branch Manager Cynthia Leal. We started the loan process with Mr. McQuinn back in March 2020. Mr. McQuinn was polite and appeared to be professional and knowledgeable. However, we later learned that he and his entire team and the branch manager proved to be nothing of the sort. Instead of being treated like a respected and valued customer that Guild Mortgage Company prides itself on, we were a victim of unprofessional, unethical, and unfair treatment. Customer service is one of the essential parts of any business, and irrespective of how many happy customers you’ve had in the past, one bad apple does spoil the entire bunch. We understand and anticipate there to be some bumps in the road. However, that does not excuse or lessen how poorly Mr. McQuinn and his team handled our paperwork. We spent 9 weeks living out of our vehicle with a 5 yr old because they kept delaying the closing date for ridiculous reasons and later charged us for additional fees that were not our fault. If this is how Guild Mortgage Company treats its customers, then we do not recommend their business to others.
