      They're fairly friendly to potential customers, but they seem to not make much of an effort to call you if you're denied a loan. I need to yet still fix my roof. Just nailed a very decent job to afford half the cost, but I needed a loan. Because my credit isnt 700 or more I was denied. That's okay. It isnt okay that I have to call the bank every day for four business days to find out if I'm approved or denied. I need to be able to weigh my options and there should be effort made by the bank to inform me. I shouldn't have to call multiple times a day. Other banks or lenders have been prompt to approve or deny my loan, and send all information relevant to the loan in 1 or 2 business days through email and phone calls. I'd still bank at Gulf Coast. No question. However they dont seem to care about you or your loan if it isnt approved.
