  My mom has her accounts from a Mid-South branch in another city. Now that she is living with us here in north texas it was very beneficial that Mid-South opened a branch in Plano Texas. The staff here was very helpful as we transitioned responsibilities for managing the account to me under a POA. My mom has limited mobility and so they went out to the car to talk with her and have her execute the necessary account changes. They have been very courteous on every visit and it is never crowded inside. The staff is very capable and trustworthy.

  I grew up in Hancock County Mississippi just blocks away from the original location of Hancock Bank. I was excited when I moved to the area two years ago that a branch was close enough that I would not have to change banks. BUT, this location is pretty much never open and it takes days to get deposits into accounts because they are just never open. I don’t get it. It’s going to be a nightmare to change banks, but I am unfortunately pretty much at that point.

  They look for ways to charge customer fees and penalties when every other bank has given up overdraft fees. Not at all customer friendly bank.
