      I am a Coldwell Banker Realtor and I bought a Highland home after carefully researching their product line and reputation. They have a near fanatical drive for quality and ALWAYS take care of their Clients. I had a Client who had bought a brand new Highland Home a few years ago in Union Park and there was a problem with a minor roof leak. The Client asked me for a recommendation for a roofer and I said I had one of course but we call Highland first. Bottom line Highland came out the next day and found the problem, redid the roof section, opened the drywall in the laundry room for mold remediation and then came back for new drywall and paint and texture. Total cost to the Client. ZERO!! THAT is why I strongly encourage Clients to look at Highland.

      Used 3 different colors of brick on the house, brick joints are 1/8 inch to 2 inches all over, in even, belly’s, arches look awful, all of the brick looks awful. Called me a liar when there was a visible leak from the second floor into the bathroom and closet. (That they had to repair because the Sheetrock was soaking wet from floor to ceiling.) Incorrectly installed shower pan, faulty fireplace, plumbing pipes with incorrect fall, oven installed incorrectly, tiles continue to crack in the same place, trash under sod, broken hvac plastic vent covers installed. Worst carpet install I’ve ever seen, missing pad, ridiculous seams. Now I find they couldn’t even bother to clean up before installing dishwasher. So now I’m writing a review. Only thing they fixed on warranty was a tile. Which cracked again since they didn’t use a membrane. Sales is great, construction/warranty guys don’t care and are disrespectful through the process. Do better.
