  I applied to a lending institution for a VA loan to reduce my interest. What I did not expect was a tsunami of calls from lenders from all over the United States. In order to qualify, I needed to reduce my rate by 50 basis points. They would all same the same thing, "yes, we can do it". When in reality, they could not. Frustrated with the flood of calls, I got to the point that I simply disregarded the calls. One day, the phone rang and I was debating whether to answer it or not. I stared at the phone and said, "OK, this is the last time I answer these random calls. Once, I understood that it was another lender calling, I went right to the point, I need a rate this is 50 basis points lower than the on I currently have. I told her my rate and she said, I know that we can do it. Please hold for a second. This was the same line that all the cold call lenders used. She came back on the line and confirmed that her organization could do it. We worked together to get the loan approved and funded. Her name is Coral Malan of GI Home Loans. She was very professional, easy to work with and very knowledgeable. We completed the process quickly and today my loan funds. I'm glad that I took the call and recommend to anyone who is looking for a rate reduction to giver her a call. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend her and wish her the best. Thanks!!!
