We were sellers, our agent, buyer's agent, and underwriter all from Howard Hanna-Kiski office. Didn't meet deadlines, had to go to court for hand money, we won but felt horrible like the buyer's were victimized and uninformed. Buyer wasn't able to finance on two loans, changed jobs. We were never informed. ALL home inspections and contingincies were passed. Contacted Corporate to resolve issue. Ended up in court this morning. The whole process was a nightmare and could have easily been avoided with honesty and integrity. I've never heard so many lies under oath. Our agent said she informed us of the buyers loans being denied and we were just eager to sell (da, even though buyer's loan wasn't approved) which is why we chose not to put our house back on the market. We also filed an official grievance with the state which is under investigation. No communication, dishonest, lack virtue, breach of fidiciary duty, breach of contract, gross negligence, breach of loyalty and good faith...had to get another agent but from same office. She was excellent. Don't want anyone else to be blindsided a mortgage wasn't approved with less than 24 hours of closing date. Pay attention to mortgage contingency date where buyers must have loan approved and seller can put house back on market if the mortgage isn't approved. Dates and times are of the essence
