  I would highly recommend IB to anyone looking for a mortgage in Michigan area. Grant was awesome! He was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful before, during and after my loan application process. My visa type makes my loan application process a little different and complicated than citizens. Grant knows my worries so he helped address all my concerns ahead the process which really ease my mind. This was my first time applying for a loan and owning a home so I did my homework before starting everything. I heard a lot of stories from my friends and online forums saying never expect your loan officer will reply to your email/call you back once you officially submit your application because you are not the only customer on their lists. But that's not the case here at Independent. Grant and his team always replied to my email in a timely manner, answering all my complicated questions one by one and taking everything into consideration from my standpoint as a first time home buyer. He's always so patient and make me feel my business is being valued. I started the loan process last July, my house was closed in last November and Grant is still helping me out with some escrow account questions today! He's so professional and knowledgeable about mortgage even for someone like me as an residential alien. Words are hard to express how gratitude I am to meet such a good loan officer and such an awesome team! Thank you Grant, Matt and Janis. You guys are truly awesome! :)

  Nick Wilson and his team were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire mortgage process. We had to make a quick offer on our house on a Sunday and Nick dropped everything to get us pre approved that day. He and his team had great and continuous communication with us from start to finish. We could not be happier!
