      KeyBank in Stone Ridge, NY (not sure about other branches): The ONLY remaining ATM that I know of that returns the card after giving cash -- increases likelihood of leaving the card for the machine to eat (grr). The branch also has a policy of immediately cutting up the card. A 24-hr grace period to see if anyone claims would be a minimal courtesy, esp with their jank '90s era ATM for which there are *exorbitant* non-customer fees! Boo.

      We cut up cards for non client that are left in our ATM for security reasons. Only your own bank can verify account ownership. The name on the front of the card alone is not enough. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.^CH
