      Josephine is the best! Extremely pleasant to work with and was very helpful and explained in detail the entire process, a complicated process she made seem so easy! So glad she was working the day I came in. Highly recommend Liberty and Josephine!!!

      I do not like to leave low-star reviews, but I have no other recourse. In April, I visited the Broad and Girard location of Liberty Tax and met with Ms. Yetevia Mangum for her to complete the 2021 tax return of my mother whom I legally represented. She was friendly and efficient, completing the return in three days. Naturally, I gave her the necessary banking information to charge her fee and process the federal tax owed. I recall seeing the fee (just short of $400) being charged from the account but got too caught up in personal matters to pay attention beyond that. In late May, I received a letter from the IRS stating that my mother’s taxes were underpaid, and that interest and penalties were added to the balance due. I emailed Ms. Mangum about the situation and asked her to contact me. A day later with no response, I called the office on two subsequent days and was sent directly to voicemail. I decided to take a closer look at the situation and came to realize that the payment due was never sent. As one might imagine, I was upset that the basic task of transferring funds was not done. But with no response from Ms. Mangum, I felt compelled to make payment myself and absorb the unanticipated charges. I have seen some positive reviews of this office, some of which referenced Ms. Mangum in a positive light. It is unfortunate that I did not receive the same benefit on behalf of my mother.
