  As I am a small business owner myself, before accepting the invitation to leave a Google review (as was requested on the table top in the closing room), I did reach out to the owners to discuss this experience. The owner promised to look into my concerns and contact me…which he did not. First, 24 hours before closing, I had not received any paperwork or communication from anyone from Liberty. Come to find out that they had been sending documents to the incorrect email address. Second, on the day before closing, my closer contacted me because she learned that my bank (she was previously unaware of my bank, allegedly) hired their own title company. This obviously impacted her commission and, at that point, she found a way to reach me (the phone). However, she just kept saying “well, I just don’t know what to do here!” Third, also on the day before closing, when I couldn’t make heads or tails of what she needed me to do, I asked my lender to call her. According to my lender, the closer was unwilling to work through this issue and just kept repeating to the bank that she was hired by the buyers agent (my agent). Forth, also 24 hours before closing, I left a voicemail for the closer, during regular business hours, and requested a call back. She did not call. Fifth, once discovering she mailed my documents to the wrong email address (love that this is floating around cyberspace) she failed to send them to the correct address for my review. I had to email her to request she do so MANY hours later. Sixth, on the day before closing, I made it clear to the closer that I would not be paying two title companies. Later that evening, she revised the closing documents, after losing the bank portion of the title work, and added a $300 fee for the closing. This was eventually removed, at the closing, when I refused to close until it was removed. Seventh, we had paperwork that needed to be signed by the sellers which was emailed to Liberty by our realtor (yes, I have seen proof). The closer claims she never got it and, as a result, it was not signed when the sellers came for their portion of the closing. The sellers needed to make a trip back to sign these documents. I have nothing positive to say about this experience and am very sad the owner didn’t care enough about my concerns to follow-up as promised.
