  We have worked with Ward over the years 3 different times, and he's always been a pleasure to deal with. He is attentive to the details and always tries to get the best rates. Even in COVID times, the process was really simple, no-contact (except signing the final set of forms which was in person, but fast) was easy and uploading the docs into the portal is really easy. He's an A+++ ReFi Guy!

  I was in process of selling my previous home and use the money to pay down the next loan. The seller agent of the house that I wanted insist me to apply for a loan through LoanDepot via an agent that she worked with - Bob so she would be certain that I can afford the house. I didn't want to do it but I really like that house and the interest rate was pretty low, so I say why not. Bob promised made a lot of promises in the beginning, lowest interest rate, and process the loan within windows. Furthermore, if he was not able to close the loan, he can talk to the seller agent and try to get more time for me to close the house since he had a good relationship with the seller agent. A week before the closing date, I checked with Bob and he told me that we were 99% there. Two days before the closing, he told me that the lender had issues with my loan and he needed another 30 days to close the loan. The seller agent wanted to put the house back on market and Bob didn't even try to help me to get more time with the seller agent. It put me in a bad spot. Luckily, I was able to close my previous home and used the money to put down this one before the closing date. I lose some money throughout the process and I lose my confidence in Bob and LoanDepot. He talks a big game but he will not back up. He promised to assist me with other loans or refinance matters after the loan went south. I emailed him a week later and he didn't even bother to respond.
