I've financed two vehicles through this credit union now and both have been an unmitigated disaster. They insist on registering your vehicles if they are out of state. The delays have been ridiculous. I wrote a check for my boat and handed it over to the previous owner three weeks ago. My boat is still not registered. I called to check on the registration and was told the paperwork was sent to Arizona and the delay was with Arizona Game and Fish. Well well well, shame on you LAPFCU. I'd already called Arizona and guess what. They have received nothing!!! Lying liars. Once I exposed the lies, the story changed to, Oh we ordered the title and are waiting on it and it could take up to 30 days to register your vehicle. Another lie. I specifically asked that I be allowed to take care of the registration. Denied! Arizona Game and Fish advised me all I needed was a bill of sale and pay the fees and the registration would be done....in minutes!!! The problem is, the credit union already took the money for the registration fees from my account.....which they haven't paid to Arizona because my boat is still unregistered. Pure incompetence and lack of empathy for their customers who must wait while they slowly go through the motions. I'm stuck now with a boat I can't legally drive and have no evidence I purchased the boat. Why? Because the F'ing credit union kept it. To register it for me. Against my wishes!!
