      This is easily the worst bank I have ever been to. In the midst of a pandemic, when I attempted to cash my check was they would not be able to because it was over a thousand dollars and I didn’t have an account. I was unaware of this. When I tried to inquire more then once about how this was possible, I was ignored and passed to another associate who was just restated the same things in an even nastier tone. Highly recommend banking with anyone other than M&T. Never did I expect to be handle in such an unfriendly, rude, and nasty manner.
