      Melissa that runs the Mortgage department has the worst customer service. She gave me answers to a bunch of questions that I didn’t ask. Also she told me to go shopping for a home without a pre approval. Nowadays you CAN NOT go view homes without a preapproval letter so realtors and sellers no you’re serious. She also told me to go online and google government mortgage programs for myself. All I wanted to know was what could M&T offer me as a lender and after spending almost 10min on the phone with her I still don’t know. I don’t care if M&T offered a 0% interest rate for a home loan I don’t want it and I don’t want to deal with her again. I felt as if she was rushing me off the phone and didn’t want me to apply. Weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Maybe it’s because I have a ethnic name. If she would’ve actually checked my status she would see how much money my son and I have sitting in there bank. 😊 Their loss.
