  I was extremely pleased working with Patrick Monaghan and Major Mortgage for my home loan. They were great with communication, knowledgeable on the industry, and their app and website were easy to use and navigate. Very happy with my home purchase and all the help from their team!

  This was not only the biggest decision but also one of the scariest because It was going to be my wife and I first time ALMOST buying a home. We unfortunately had the worst experience working with Major Mortgage loan officer Ellie Bardi. We called Major Mortgage after dealing with one other mortgage company. Looking back we should've just stayed with. We called Major Mortgage kinda sad and hopeless. Ellie did great pulling us in and getting us excited. After building a positive relationship and giving every little detail about our life, bank info, ss numbers and everything else they need. She starts having weird excuses why she didn't call back or not answering. Finally after a couple weeks of getting everything together she says she would get ahold of us later that day to give us the go ahead to start shopping for a home. Then all of a sudden we cant get ahold of her. My wife and I both try calling and texting from both our phones. After a week of not being able to get ahold of her and freaking out wondering who did we just give all our information too? We call Major Mortgage and a lady answers saying she is the vice president who did not seem to care about her employees strange behavior. She says Ellie is not sick and is there working, she is doing fine and she would call us back after she talked to Ellie. When she called back she said Ellie could not get ahold of us. We had been texting and calling for the previous weeks so why all of a sudden could she not text, call or even email us back. At this point were pretty bummed. Not only did she lie about trying to call us, we never got any explanation or any real reason at all why she just disappeared. I never leave reviews good or bad but this place had horrible customer service, hurt our feelings and the loan officer lied. I really dont want her to get in trouble but we called Major Mortgage mainly because we wanted to make sure she was an actual loan officer but also because we went from talking almost daily to her disappearing and we wanted to know what happened. We never did get an answer why. I hope by sharing my experience it saves someone from going through what we went through.
