  This company was amazing to work with.. Blanca took our loan very seriously and worked tirelessly to get it approved. We had some things on our credit that required someone to look at it, unlike an automated approval would. We would not have been approved had they chosen to not take the time to work with us. Thank you Marine CU!!!!!

  Apparently 40% down is “lack of funds for a down payment.” Most places request 3.5% for first mortgage. Interesting. Don’t even bother with them. They say they help those with credit issues and they don’t. My credit is just on the cusp of being good for an FHA loan so if you work with “bad” credit it should be good enough for you. Plus my coborrower’s credit score is well into the 700’s. We have a down payment too. Yet couldn’t get us a home mortgage. Update: got an email from them saying they don’t just look at credit, they look at income. How is $77,700 income, a 740 credit score, and a 90k down payment not good enough?

  Recently applied for a loan through this Credit Union for a new car. This is my first time and well it was horrible. The loan person that was working with me was never communicating with me as best as she could have been. The bank is about 45 minutes to an hour from my place so when I first dropped the title off they told me I didn’t have to sign it even though I asked them twice if I had too. The loan lady called me a couple weeks later to go back to the bank to sign the title! Now my temporary plates are going to be expire fairly soon and I might have to struggle to the dmv to get another set. (I live in Illinois, the dmv is always packed.) I would not recommend this Credit Union to everyone. This has been a nightmare.
