  I’m a first time home owner and put down money on a home on 5/25, and got my keys on 6/10. According to the seller’s agent, this is the fastest that she’s ever seen a home purchase complete in recent years . You want to know my secret? Getting synced up with my mortgage broker, Maureen Martin, ahead of time :) This lady is. the. bomb. She manages all client-facing communications on her own, and is always super duper responsive. From previous experiences, this is one of the most important aspects of having a mortgage lender early - to get educated, to get your questions answered, to lay down all the ground work so when it comes time to rumble… you’re ready to rumble. And thanks to Maureen, we were! Our working process was - I had 1 consultation session with her, completed the application with some help, and voila - we were pre-approved! Once we are pre-approved, I was able to procure loan pre-approval letters with ease (either through Maureen herself or through a template that she issues), and placed offers broadly. Once we offered on a home and were selected, she and her underwriting team were able to Quickly guide me through the required documentations (she'll send me a document, and we'll have a quick call going through it) and lock down a competitive rate. It was wonderful always having Maureen in my back pocket on speed dial during this time because buying houses = so much paperwork. I am super grateful to have met such a resourceful, dynamic, professional. I love that she is always “on top of it” and got us through the home buying purchase with ease.
