  Have been a member since 1985. Top notch service! I've come back to update my review. The quality of service here has declined significantly over the past couple of years. I live a few hours away from San Leandro, so I do my banking via direct deposit, USPS, and telephone. My main complaint is with the telephone service. The person/people answering the phone have often been impatient, bordering on rude. They seem to just answer my questions without really knowing if they've given me accurate information. I usually have to call them back a second time and request that they please check with someone else because they resist transferring to someone who can actually help me. For example, my debit card was recently compromised on a Sunday. The company that monitors debit and credit card transactions for MWFCU notified me, cancelled my debit card and told me to call Moore West first thing Monday morning to start the process of getting a replacement debit card. When I called MWFCU, I asked for their fraud department and explained what occurred over the weekend. The person who answered the phone told me to call the monitoring company back, that they were the ones to do this. I explained that they already cancelled the card and I just need to get a new one issued, but she insisted I call them back. Fortunately, the monitoring company was kind enough to get me on a three way call with MWFCU until they understood that they were indeed the one to help me. The same type of issues have occurred with transfers to my account from someone else's account...the person transferring the money always has to call MWFCU because the info I was provided was insufficient. I had to go back to getting paper copies of my bank statements because I'm unable to print them, and getting a copy emailed that shows identifying information such as name, address, etc. always takes at least two phone calls because once again, the person answering the phone wont transfer me to the person who actually sends the emails, and I get just a print out that could be from any bank and for anyone. Most disturbing is now when I call, they ask for my account number and sometimes my name, but never for any other info to confirm it's me, such as my address. I'll be moving on to a different local credit union next week. It's been disappointing to see decades of top notch service decline to this level.

  Couldn't find this credit union. There are no signs and no exterior ATM. Not sure if it's still in this location.
