      On April 1, my husband and I made the decision to switch our auto and home insurance providers. We had been with the same agent and company for 24 years and were looking to lower our costs and find an agent in or near our hometown of Camas. I had been putting off the switch for the past three years, because I considered it a monumental, stressful, and undesirable undertaking, as I perceive anything to do with insurance to be. In March I bit the bullet and reached out to State Farm in Washougal, connecting with Deanna Evans. Not only did she immediately set my mind at ease, but she couldn’t have been nicer nor easier to work with. She listened to my concerns, as well as what I was looking for regarding my insurance needs and was quickly able to send me policies to review. There was never any pressure to switch, and it felt as if I were talking to an old friend the entire time, one who had my best interests at heart.
