      Having a checking account here has been a bad experience from the get go. The final straw was when they charged our contractor $5.00 to cash a check we had written from our N. Brookfield Savings checking account. That's right, they charged.a fee to cash a check written on their bank and branch!

      In the past I have had great customer service here but today was a slap in the face. Pulled in a few minutes before closing because I was running behind to cash a check and as I’m getting out of my vehicle to go inside they rush out the door to lock it and run back in. You would think they could take the two seconds to help a customer. Edit 06/24/2020 I would like to update this review to reflect the fact that I received a very nice and apologetic call from Patty. It says a lot to a customer that she took the time out of her day to call and hear what they had to say.
