  I would NEVER recommend using OCCU for a mortgage. I thought using a smaller company would give me more personalized service. Calling the branch and getting thru to a person is one of the most frustrating automated systems I have ever used. They make you listen to all these automated messages repeatedly telling you faster service can be found at the website. IF I WANTED TO USE THE WEBSITE I WOULD NOT BE CALLING TO SPEAK WITH A HUMAN. They have a system that says if you do not want to stay on hold type your phone number and they will call you back. TWO TIMES THEY HAVE NEVER CALLED BACK!!! AT LEAST 3 TIMES I HAVE BEEN ON HOLD AND HUNG UP ON. No company should make it so frustrating to speak with a person. Clark Howard calls this customer NO Service. My comments are directed towards what I think is the main office in Santa Ana and not the Mission Viejo Branch.
