      PNSFCU is one of the best banks in the nation. They care about their customers, and the employees are highly trained. Their customer service skills is top notch and I enjoy banking with them.

      They are a small credit union for Penn State Students, but they are an excellent choice for graduate students - in fact, much better than PNC in many cases. If you are an international student, you can open a free checking & savings account right away, because they will accept your proof of being a graduate assistants. Moreover, they provide probably the easiest opportunity to get started with credit cards in the US which is otherwise really hard for international students. I can recommend them a lot - but of course, you may want to open other accounts as well later on...
